Dating and relationships is such a touchy subject. It seems as though everyone and their mama is offering advice of what not to do and how not to do it. No matter what the case is, we can all be honest enough to admit that we all want to be happy. Whether you’re single or married, there is hard work required to keep you or your relationship healthy progressive. Monotony activity makes for a boring life. How many times are you going to attend the same movie theatre, eat the same food, go to the same bar, do the same activity, and have the same sex….why continue to do what is expected?Listen I get it, change is hard and often very difficult to adapt to…but that’s what life is about! And if there are kids involved, I know that free time isn’t so easy to come by. But you make time for everything else. Why continue to go throug

h life under the radar?  You work hard, you do so much for others, do something for yourself. Your marriage is the foundation of your family, take care of each other and your union, so much depends on it.The changes don’t have to be continuous or even hard to do! Maybe just a one-time unexpected ‘gift’ will give a boost that will make a big difference. It doesn’t have to be expensive or even time consuming…but keep it a surprise! If you’re single, don’t tell anyone- just do you!Send flowers to HIS job for no reason at all, cut/color/change your (any) hair, a no strings attached massage,  do that thing you’ve been putting off for so long, unexpected weekend trip away, bring their favorite food/dessert, spa certificate, headphones on- music up- dance like no one is watching, nice message in lunch, new lingerie (maybe cook a meal in it)…or think of something suited just for you and don’t  put any limitations on it. No matter how you cook it up, keeping yourself or your marriage in a good place is going to take some work. But seriously….isn’t it worth it?
