Love doesn’t hurt

I believe that many of us have no idea what it is like to be loved or love in a healthy way. I believe too many of us are masquerading hurt as love and it’s causing problems. So many of us are in some type of pain and it’s stopping us from being our best selves.

How can you possibly love me, when the idea of my pain brings a smirk to your face

How can you possibly love me when it’s way to easy for you to walk away in my moments of needs.

I am convinced that so many of us have never experienced true love in its purest form, because when we do, we want to bask in it, share it and live in it. It’s a beautiful place to be, and even when it’s uncomfortable, there’s no place you’d rather be.
Too much dysfunction, pain, anger, resentment and avoidance running around. I get it, we all have issues, but why not heal from them and deal with the problem. Hurt people, hurt people. It’s beginning to become the norm, and it’s beginning to call itself love.
