Not being consistent sucks. Yes, no, maybe so????Could you imagine visiting a restaurant every Friday night for a month. How about experiencing good and bad service throughout the month? How would you rate the restaurant? How about standing in one spot, on your cell phone. You never move positions, but the calls are continuously dropped then suddenly a phone call last its entirety without a problem. Can you understand the frustration? Im sure we can agree that eventually, we decide that whatever it is isn’t worth the headache. Id rather deal with something consistently horrible than to deal with the back and forth. Because at the end of the day, even if it’s not favorable, I know where I standSo if inconsistency serves bad for business, imagine the effects it has on relationships. Add emotions to the mix and everything gets a second glance.Inconsistency says a lot about person. Double minded people aren’t really any good to anyone, especially themselves. Whether it be from emotional pain, insecurity, mental anguish, low self esteem…reasons for it are numerous inconsistency is a symptom of a bigger issue. And it’s hardly ever worth the headache. Do yourself a favor, and be consistently in your favorBut when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (James 1:6-8 NIV)Understand that bible verse says a lot about a lot…so you already know this subject will be revisited!!!
